Thinking about lowering your ride? Admittedly it took me a very long time to decide and I'm glad I finally did! I decided to go with H&R Sport Springs and I am very happy with it's effects on looks and performance. Not only has lowering made my car looked 10 times better, performance has also improved.
- Better handling, for safer driving. Lowering your car's center of gravity makes it more agile.
- Fuel savings, since lowering your car increases aerodynamics so less wind resistance at high speeds
- Better braking again from the lower center of gravity, you can stop your car at a shorter distance
- Better acceleration at high speeds, from increased aerodynamics
- Better cornering because of better spring compression ratio
And the list goes on, and looking way better on the road is just a bonus!
This was my car before
And now with H&R Sport Springs
Big difference!
Here are some brands that (to my knowledge) has an application for our rides.
H&R Sport Springs
Spring Type: Progressive
Front: 1.4"
Rear: 1.3"
Ride Quality: Close to stock
Thoughts: Gives a conservative drop, so it's perfect if you're car has a body kit since it wont make your ground clearance too low. Being a progressive spring adds to the comfort of the ride since the springs only get stiff when the lower part of the spring is fully compressed.

Eibach Pro-kit
Spring Type: Progressive
Front: 1"
Rear: 1"
Ride Quality: Similar to stock
Thoughts: Give's a more conservative drop than H&R, Perfect for cars with body kits who are worried about ground clearance. The Progressive spring design and have a longer spring compression makes for an even more comfortable ride.

Tanabe NF210
Spring Type: ?
Front: 1.25"
Rear: 1.6"
Ride Quality: Similar to stock
Thoughts: Also great if you are looking for a conservative drop. These springs are really designed for comfort, hence NF meaning Normal Feel. You might need to place a spacer on the rear springs if your car gets loaded all the time. The rear fender clearance is shorter than the front, so the rear tire might be more inside than others.

Tein S-Tech
Spring Type: ?
Front: 1.8"
Rear: ?
Ride Quality: Stiff
Thoughts: Has a great drop for an aggressive look, a lot of performance enhancements especially in the the car's handling and cornering since the center of gravity is much lower than others.

Tanabe DF210
Spring Type: ?
Front: 2"
Rear: ?
Ride Quality: Stiff
Thoughts: A very aggressive drop of 2", great handling and cornering.
